We do not store or process your credit card details ourselves.

How do we use that personal information?

  • Manage and/or maintain your user account on our website (if you created one);
  • Process and deliver purchases, returns, backorders etc;
  • Carry out fraud assessment;

If you have signed up to our mailing list, we also use your name and e-mail address to send you regular newsletters about new collections, events or promotions etc... We would never sign you up to any mailing list without your express consent. In addition, you can unsubscribe at any time by e-mailing alice@aliquo.ie or via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each newsletter. We use a third party called Mailchimp to manage contacts and send newsletters. Mailchimp does not pass on your data to any third parties and is GDPR compliant.
We use other types of personal information for the following purposes:
  • To use data analytics to improve our website, as well as creating targeted ads to find new customers who might also like our products.
  • We may also share certain data with third party social media platforms in order to show you targeted ads when you visit them. We do this only by the use of cookies which capture your visits to our website. Please refer to our Cookies Policy for more information. We NEVER share your e-mail address with any third party social media platform, as this is against our own policy.  

How secure is your data?

Our website runs on the Shopify platform. Shopify has implemented technical and organisational data security measures to be in compliance with GDPR. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality. (Currently, that's just me!).
You acknowledge that the Internet is not a completely secure medium for communication and, accordingly, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you send to us (or we send to you) via the Internet. We are not responsible for any damages which you, or others, may suffer as a result of the loss of confidentiality of such information.
 

How long do we keep personal information?

Your privacy is always respected when you shop with aliquo. From time to time we might establish business relationships with other entities whom we believe trustworthy and whose privacy policies are consistent with ours. E-commerce provider – our website runs on the Shopify platform.

Email service providers - in order to send you marketing content and transactional emails, we share your details with our email service provider Mailchimp.

Social Media Platforms - we only share information with Social Media platforms using cookies. NEVER your name or e-mail address.

Analytics tools - we use Google Analytics tools to track the way that users interact with our website in order to improve user experience.

Payment providers - in order to process any payments made on our site, Shopify facilitates the sharing of your Financial Data with payment providers. Your credit card details are not stored.

Delivery providers - in order to package and mail your orders to you, it is necessary to share your information with delivery providers. Our current delivery provider is the international postal system.
